Will these work on solid conductor cable? These are made for stranded cable. Solid conductor cable, the kind used for permanent in wall runs, needs plugs designed for solid wire, because the contact geometry differs. Using the wrong type is a common cause of intermittent links.

What does the load bar do? It is a small insert that holds the eight conductors in the right order and spacing before they enter the plug, so the pairs stay untwisted for the shortest possible distance. That is what keeps crosstalk within Cat6 and Cat6A limits.

What size cable do they fit? They are sized for slim, mini Cat6 and Cat6A cable rather than full diameter cable. Check your cable's outside diameter before ordering a large quantity.
