Couldn't load pickup availability
The standard computer power cord, built heavy: a North American NEMA 5-15P wall plug to an IEC 60320 C13 connector, in 14 AWG and rated 15A at 125V. If a device has the familiar three-hole C14 inlet on the back, such as a desktop PC, a monitor, a printer, a PDU or an amplifier, this is the cord it takes.
- Ideal solution for replacing damaged, overused or missing power cords.
- This heavy duty 14 AWG power cord is fully molded for durability.
- UL, cUL listed.
- All relevant materials are complied with RoHS and REACH directive.

What it's for
- Replacing a lost, damaged or too-short PC, monitor or printer cord.
- Feeding a rack PDU or power strip from a wall outlet at the full 15A the circuit allows.
- High-draw equipment where a thinner 18 AWG cord would be working near its limit.
- Standardising a bench or studio on one cord type so spares are interchangeable.
Good to know
Is 14 AWG overkill for a monitor?
For a monitor, yes: an 18 AWG cord is fine. 14 AWG earns its keep on things that actually draw current: PDUs, workstations with large power supplies, amplifiers, laser printers at warm-up.
Will this fit my device?
If the inlet is a plain three-pin trapezoid with no notch, it is a C14 and this fits. If there is a ridge below the earth pin, that is a C16 inlet and you need the notched C15 version instead.
What does 14 AWG mean here?
AWG is conductor thickness, and the scale runs backwards: a lower number is a thicker wire. At 14 AWG this cord is built to carry its rated 15A at 125V without the conductors heating up. A thinner cord with a higher AWG number carries less current.
What is a SJT jacket?
SJT is a thermoplastic-jacketed, hard-service cord, the heavier, more abrasion-resistant jacket used on equipment and rack cords.
How much load can I actually put on it?
The cord is rated 15A at 125V. The usual engineering practice is to keep a continuous load at or below 80% of a circuit or cord rating and leave headroom for inrush when equipment powers on, so size the cord to the equipment rather than to the outlet.
