Nippon Labs 16AWG Power Extension Cord, Black NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R, SJT 13A 125V

A heavy-duty indoor extension cord that adds reach to any standard three-prong power cord or outlet: NEMA 5-15P plug on one end, NEMA 5-15R receptacle on the other. The 16 AWG copper conductors are rated 13 A at 125 V, one step heavier than the 18 AWG cords most equipment ships with, so a computer, monitor, printer, TV or small appliance can sit where you want it without a voltage-drop penalty.

SJT is an indoor jacket. For lawns, job sites and wet locations use a cord with a W in its jacket code, such as our 12/3 SJTW outdoor extension cord. Match the cord to the load: 13 A covers computers, displays and small appliances, while space heaters and power tools that draw close to 15 A belong on a 14 or 12 AWG cord.
