A C14 to C7 adapter cord lets equipment with a two-slot "figure 8" (IEC C7) inlet run from a PDU, UPS or power strip that only offers C14 outlets. Game consoles, TVs, soundbars, laptop power bricks, DVD and Blu-ray players, printers and audio gear all use the C7 inlet; this cord replaces their wall-plug lead with one that plugs straight into rack power.
Highlights
- IEC-60320-C14 plug to IEC-60320-C7 connector (non-polarized, two conductor).
- 18 AWG SPT-2 cable, 105°C rated, fully molded ends.
- Rated 10 A, far above what any C7 device draws.
- UL and cUL listed; RoHS and REACH compliant materials.
- Four lengths: 2, 3, 6 and 10 ft.

Good to know
C7 is the non-polarized version of the figure-8 inlet; devices with a polarized C7 inlet (one squared-off side) take the polarized C7P plug instead. To feed the same kind of device from a wall outlet rather than a PDU, see our NEMA 1-15P to C7 notebook cords. Planning a whole rack? Read how to plan rack power cords.
