A 50-pack of clear snag-proof strain relief boots for mini Cat6 and Cat6A RJ45 plugs, moulded in PVC and sized for cable up to 4.5 mm outside diameter. The boot slides on before you crimp and then covers the locking tab, so the tab cannot catch on a bundle and snap off when a cord is pulled back out of a dense panel.

MINI CAT6&6a RJ-45 SNAG PROOF STRAIN RELIEF BOOT Clear COLOR 50PCS/BAG

  • Snag proof boot design protects the locking tab of the RJ45 connector when plugging and unplugging.
  • This 8P8C strain relief boot supports cable outer meters up to 4.5mm and is generally for mini Cat6 & 6a cable.
  • All materials comply with RoHS.

Can ONLY combine with our Mini Cat6&6a Modular Clear Plug (Part#30PG-68PG-066ARS-100) to make a pair.

OD : 4.5mm
Material : PVC
Color : Clear

What it's for

  • Finishing hand-made patch cords so they survive repeated re-patching.
  • Dense patch panels and switch faces, where a bare tab is the thing that always breaks.
  • Colour-free clear boots when you want the cable colour itself to be the identifier.
  • Bench and field kits — 50 to a bag is enough for a full patch field.

Good to know

Will these fit my plugs?
They are made to pair with our mini Cat6/6A modular clear plug (part 30PG-68PG-066ARS-100). Boots and plugs are not universal between brands, so match the pair rather than mixing.

What cable diameter do they take?
Up to 4.5 mm outside diameter, which covers slim and mini Cat6/6A cable. Standard 23/24 AWG Cat6A is usually thicker than that and needs a larger boot.

Do I fit the boot before or after crimping?
Before — always. Thread the boot onto the cable, strip and order the pairs, crimp the plug, then slide the boot up over the back of the plug. It cannot be fitted afterwards.
