Nippon Labs DisplayPort v1.4 cables support a maximum bandwidth up to 32.40Gbps (HBR3 - High Bit Rate 3 mode) with added support for Display Stream Compression 1.2 (DSC). This combination allows support for 8K / 60Hz (7680x4320) or 5K (5120x2880) / 120Hz resolutions. Up from the previous generation, the number of audio channels has also increased to support up to 32 audio channels. Support for HDCP 2.2 is also included. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is also supported for deeper blacks, greater contrast, and more lively colors.
