FAQ

Will it work with my USB 2.0 printer?
Only if the device's port is a standard USB 3.0 Type-B socket. A USB 3.0 B plug is taller than a USB 2.0 B plug and will not fit a USB 2.0 B socket. A USB 2.0 B plug does fit a USB 3.0 B socket, but not the reverse, so check the port shape before you order.

Is USB 3.0 backward compatible?
Yes on the A end. The USB-A plug works in USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports, running at the speed of the slower device.
