FAQ
Will rodents chew through it? The stainless steel armor is what stops rats, mice and squirrels, the most common reason ordinary Ethernet cable fails in attics and outbuildings.
Does it support PoE? Yes. The 24 AWG copper conductors carry PoE and PoE+ for cameras and access points.
Is it flexible enough to route? Yes. The armor is a flexible spiral that bends through tight spaces, though it is stiffer than a standard patch cable.
24 AWG or slim 28 AWG? 24 AWG is the choice for longer runs and PoE. Our slim 28 AWG armored version is thinner and easier to route for short connections.
