The Nippon Labs CL3 series delivers the full 18Gbps of HDMI 2.0, which is what 4K at 60Hz with HDR and YCbCr 4:4:4 chroma actually requires. Cables that fall short of that bandwidth drop to 4:2:0 or 30Hz, which is where the flicker and handshake errors come from.

The CL3 rating means the jacket is fire-resistant and rated for in-wall installation, so the same cable works for a permanent run behind drywall or a visible connection between components.
