Nippon Labs HDMI Extension Cable, 8 in, HDMI A Male to A Female, 30AWG with Ethernet

A short High Speed HDMI extension with an HDMI A male on one end and an HDMI A female on the other, so an existing HDMI cable reaches a little further or sits at a kinder angle. The male end goes into the TV, receiver or wall plate, and the cable you already own plugs into the female end. It is the fix for a port recessed behind a wall mounted TV, or for a cable that would otherwise be bent hard against a panel.

FAQ

Will it slow down a faster HDMI cable? It caps the link at its own rating. This extension is rated for 10.2Gbps and 4K at 30Hz, so anything plugged through it is limited to that, whatever the main cable supports.

Does it pass audio return channel and HDMI Ethernet? Yes. It supports the High Speed feature set including HDMI Ethernet channel, audio return channel, 3D video and deeper colour, along with multi channel surround audio.

What are the dust caps for? They cover the contacts on the connectors while the extension is not in use, which keeps dirt off the gold plated pins in storage.
