Do I need HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120Hz? Yes. HDMI 2.0 cables top out at 18Gbps, which limits 4K to 60Hz. 4K at 120Hz needs a 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 cable plus HDMI 2.1 ports on both devices.

What length should I get? Passive HDMI 2.1 is most reliable at 10 ft and under. For longer runs, use our 8K hybrid active optical HDMI cables.
