FAQ

Which conductor gauge do I need? A lower AWG number means thicker copper, which holds the signal over a longer run. As a rule of thumb, 28 AWG is fine for short desk and rack lengths, 26 AWG for medium runs, and 24 AWG for the longest passive copper runs. Past about 50 ft, an active optical cable is the more reliable choice.

What does ARC do? ARC stands for Audio Return Channel. It sends audio back down the same cable from the TV to a soundbar or receiver, so you do not need to run a separate audio cable between them.
